GIBSON COUNTY, Ind. — A southern Indiana social worker is facing charges for allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old student.

Mariah Lienemann, 30, of Owensville, was arrested Thursday on a felony charge of child seduction after a monthlong investigation.

According to Indiana State Police, "suspicious behavior" was reported to Princeton High School administrators on Nov. 6 and police were immediately contacted when they learned a Youth First social worker, later identified as Lienemann, was the subject of the allegations. The alleged victim in the case, a 16-year-old Princeton student, had been in the social worker's class since the beginning of the current school year.
