Virgin Media has gone down across several parts of the UK, with customers claiming this is 'beyond a joke'. Thousands of reports have been recorded on DownDetector regarding Virgins services on Thursday night (December 11).

Some customers said they had received an email indicating that WiFi and TV services may be affected and that they were working to get this issue fixed. Reports were initially made at around 9pm and it is believed that the issue may not be fixed in certain areas until the afternoon on Friday, December 12.

According to DownDetector most of the reports come from major UK cities including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff and Glasgow.
