DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Local truckers filled the aisles of Hermantown’s Fleet Farm Thursday while filling carts with toys for Northland kids in need.
As part of the annual Toys for Tots campaign, Northland trucking employees shopped for hundreds of toys. They’ll donate the items to make sure all kids get to open a present this Christmas.
Thursday’s shopping excursion is made possible thanks to Ascendance Truck Centers. The dealer has been delivering thousands of toys to northland kids for decades.
“We’ve been doing this as part of Mid-State Truck Service and Ascendance has kept on with the role, 17 years this year.“ said Mike Cooper, Operations Manager of Ascendance Truck Centers.
