A Wichita, Kansas resident arrested in a 40-pound methamphetamine seizure entered a plea agreement at the Mohave County Law and Justice Center on Dec. 11. Daisy Morales, 24, is convicted of a charge reduced to attempted transportation of dangerous drugs for sale.

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office said Morales and co-defendant Mario Altamirano, 24, Fresno, California were both arrested on drug charges following a Nov. 6 traffic stop just east of the Kingman City limits. She said the attempted stop was initiated on Interstate 40 and completed once the vehicle drive by Altamirano exited the freeway and pulled over at a gas station.
