SOUTH POINT, Ohio (WSAZ) - Holiday spirit filled the halls at Easterseals Central & Southeast Ohio, all thanks to a group of Burlington Elementary School students who showed up to carol.
For these students, the visit was about more than music — it was about sharing joy with people who don’t often get to experience a school performance.
“We’re mostly here to sing and have people enjoy it here,” fourth-grader Mayson Napier said.
“It’s really special for us to sing for the people and it’s like really nice,” fifth-grader Jaden Young said. “And for people who aren’t really able like to hear the cheers of Christmas, it just feels really good for them.”
The group has been practicing their carols at school, excited for the chance to spread some cheer beyond their classroom.
