HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - It’s been about a month and a half since 38-year-old Korri Kamaka was hit and left for dead on the side of the road in Nanakuli.
Despite the time that has passed, his family is still searching for the person responsible.
“We’re still searching for answers. HPD is still investigating. We haven’t heard much from HPD because they don’t want to come forward with any false hopes. So until they have confirmation, we won’t, pretty much, hear any word from them,” Korri’s sister Kyrsten Kamaka said.
The person behind the crash hit Korri while he was on his way home from work on Oct. 20.
A memorial along Farrington Highway and Helelua Street marks the spot where it happened.
