Just over 24 hours ago, Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel announced head coach Sherrone Moore was fired for cause following an inappropriate relationship with an unnamed staff member.

“U-M head football coach Sherrone Moore has been terminated, with cause, effective immediately. Following a University investigation, credible evidence was found that Coach Moore engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member. This conduct constitutes a clear violation of University policy, and U-M maintains zero tolerance for such behavior,” a statement from Manuel read.

Michigan allegedly learned of the relationship earlier this fall, but did not find credible evidence of wrongdoing. However, more "overwhelming" information came forward on Wednesday which ultimately led the Wolveri
