CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) -- Illinois men's basketball opened league play this week win a win on the road against Ohio State.
Brad Underwood says he liked how he saw his team fight and hold off the Buckeyes in a hard place to play.
Freshman Keaton Wagler led the team with a career high 23 points and played in 39 of the 40 minutes of the game.
Underwood said how Wagler has performed in the first 10 games of the season is no surprise to him and isn't putting any expectations on the guard for games.
