New Elk Camp lift makes debut today

Aspen Skiing Co. announced Thursday that the new Elk Camp high-speed six-pack lift will debut today (Friday) at Snowmass.

“This debut marks a major milestone in Aspen Snowmass’ continued investment in the mountain experience, with one of Snowmass’ most popular mid-mountain lifts,” a news release from the resort company states.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. today at the bottom terminal of the new Elk Camp lift, located mid-mountain. SkiCo leadership will offer brief remarks before the first official chair loads. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is open to the public.
