THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala will give his statement before the special investigation team (SIT) in the Sabarimala gold theft case. He is expected to reach the crime branch office in Eanchakkal at 3 pm today to give his statement. His statement is taken based on Chennithala's revelation that the Sabarimala gold theft has links with an international smuggling gang. Chennithala had informed SIT that he is ready to give his statement on the matter. However, it is not clear whether any evidence will be produced on the disclosure.
