JAMESTOWN — Last season, it took 23 games for the Bemidji State women's basketball team to get six wins. This season, it's only taken eight.

The Beavers knocked off Jamestown 77-61 on Thursday night, led by high-scoring duo Evyn Eppinga and Kassandra Caron.

Eppinga scored 28, going 7-for-7 from the free throw line, while Caron scored 27. Caron led the team in 3s with three.

Aubrey Heyer picked up the most rebounds with six, while Tieryn Plasch and Caron led the team in assists with four apiece.
