CLEVELAND — A heartbroken Parma mother is searching for the driver who struck and killed her fiance near a highway entrance before taking off.

Anthony Workman was riding his motorcycle on West 25th Street near the Interstate 71 south entrance ramp on Monday, Oct. 27, when Cleveland police say a car hit him and fled. Workman, 27, died at the scene.

His fiancee, Adrianna Villarreal, says she'll never forget the moment she had to break the news to their son.

"I had to explain to him that his dad was no longer alive and that his dad was in heaven," Villarreal recalled, tearfully.

Surveillance cameras captured the crash, but police have not released the footage. Investigators say this remains an active and open case, and no suspects have been identified or arrested.
