UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio — John Carroll University announced earlier this month that Carolyn Noll Sorg will become the institution’s 27th president starting June 1, 2026.

Noll Sorg, currently the university’s Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing, will succeed President Alan Miciak, who is set to retire after serving since 2021.

She stopped by WKYC Studios on Friday for a live interview during our morning stream on WKYC+ where she explained how honored she is to have this opportunity.
