SHELBY TWP. – With most of its team back, Utica Eisenhower’s girls basketball team has high expectations.

If Wednesday’s 64-16 win over visiting Armada is any indication, Eagles fans are in for a real treat.

Eisenhower outscored the Tigers in all four quarters and breezed to the season-opening victory.

Sophomore Leah Poggiolo led the way with 16 points, seven steals and four rebounds as part of a balanced effort from a deep and talented squad.
