I own two residential properties in India. One was partly inherited and partly gifted to me two years ago (originally purchased over 15 years ago). The second property, purchased around 15 years ago, is jointly owned by me. Additionally, I inherited equity stocks a year ago upon the demise of my parents, which were originally purchased 20-25 years ago. I seek your advice on how to avail exemption from long-term capital gains ( LTCG ) tax under these conditions.
