Thursday showed exactly why Bridgewater-Raritan is considered the best boys swim team in New Jersey.
For most state-ranked teams, missing two All-State swimmers like Jaden Lee and Aaron Roy would be a recipe for an upset.
Not Bridgewater-Raritan, though.
The Panthers, ranked No. 1 in NJ.com’s Top 20, leaned on everyone to make up the difference and it showed with a dominant 115-55 victory over No. 7 Pingry on Thursday at the Bridgewater YMCA.
Bridgewater-Raritan picked up eight first-place finishes and posted a pair of 1-2-3 sweeps. Both Lee and Roy are competing at the Speedo Winter Junior Championships in Indianapolis, which conflicted with Thursday’s dual meet.
