BIRMINGHAM – It’s only the first week of the season, but Farmington Hills Mercy was under pressure Thursday night.
The Marlins made their fair share of mistakes playing against Birmingham Groves, who are employing the Grinnell System that emphasizes full-court pressure, brisk subs and volume 3-point shooting this year, but Mercy survived that and a late push by the hosts to win 66-59.
