Robert Eaves scored 20 points with four assists and a block for Newark Global Studies in its 62-26 triumph against Gateway Academy in Newark.

Newark Global Studies (2-0) led 36-19 at halftime over Gateway Academy.

Craig Eaves scored 15 points with eight rebounds and five steals for Newark Global Studies. Julius Fernandez netted 14 points with five rebounds, four assists and three steals. Jaydin Wright recorded 11 rebounds with six points and three assists.

Gateway Academy falls in its season opener and drops to 0-1.
