Some of northeastern South Dakota's best Class A and B girls basketball teams have held their own at the state level these past few years and there's no reason to think that won't be the case again in 2025-26.
The new season officially kicked off with a handful of games on Friday, Dec. 5 and the rest of the state's teams expected to follow suit this week.
