Frank Cozzolino, an electrician who appeared on HGTV shows such as “Holmes on Homes,” has died at the age of 56.

According to Deadline , Cozzolino’s daughter, Filomena, posted on social media that her father died on Dec. 4 because of complications from liver disease. Cozzolino had a liver transplant, his second, in July.

“My dad is loved by many,” Filomena said in her post, Deadline reports. “A man full of passion, empathy, brutal honesty, and integrity; he fought through the struggles of organ disease and was granted a second chance at life in 2017 through the gift of organ donation.”

HGTV star Mike Holmes wrote on Instagram that he was “devastated” by Cozzolino’s death.
