JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – For decades, 224 Main St. and its decorative balconies were a downtown Johnstown destination – before years of decay forced the building’s demolition last year.
Through a collaborative effort and a $50,000 boost from the wireless provider T-Mobile, an effort is underway to revive the property as an outdoor gathering space that will preserve elements of its past, Johnstown Redevelopment Authority Executive Director Mark Critz said Thursday. ×
