AMES — It's a Cyclone State on the hardwood for at least another year, but visiting Iowa almost spoiled things for No. 4 Iowa State basketball .

The unbeaten Cyclones were able to fend off the Hawkeyes at Hilton Coliseum and hang on for a 66-62 victory over their in-state rivals on Dec. 11.
