A teenager sent a chilling death threat to a woman - just weeks after being released from prison.

Chelsea Brett, who showed 'dangerous potential', was locked up for being in possession of a knife in May.

The 19-year-old was released on licence at the end of October, with conditions not to contact the woman - who was known to her - who she had gone to meet when she was found with the blade.

But on November 23, Brett sent a series of Whatsapp messages to the woman, one of which stated: ‘You're dead, you wait’.

When Brett, of Dovedale Circle in Cotmanhay, Ilkeston, was arrested, she went on to punch a police officer in the face while in custody.
