BURLINGTON, Wash — A full evacuation order for the city of Burlington has been partially lifted Friday morning.
Skagit County posted the evacuation order at 6:12 a.m. Friday, and said the National Guard will be going door-to-door to notify residents and assist with evacuations. As of 9:30 a.m., anyone who lives west of the train tracks running north and south
There are two new shelters that opened Thursday night at Bayview Elementary School, the county says.
Skagit County already saw tens of thousands of residents evacuated after torrential rains pushed multiple rivers into major flood stage this week.
