Music is known for soothing the senses, and that couldn't be truer for Crystal Smith.
"Music has always been my therapy even before music therapy was a thing," said Smith, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 30 years ago. Advertisement
"MS is a pain to deal with at times. Numbness, tingling," Smith said. "Just there's a whole laundry list of symptoms."
For years, Smith acted as an advocate for those living with MS, but now she's part of a new group helping her find hers.
"I sing myself through the stress and it really, it really is a thing," Smith said. "It's always been a great outlet for me."
