The community is invited to cheer on its hometown heroes at the annual Battle of the Badges basketball game, taking place Thursday, December 12 at 6:30 pm at Aurelia M. Cole Academy , located at 150 Pitt Street in Clermont .

This friendly—and highly competitive—matchup between the Clermont Police Department and the Lake County Sheriff’s Office brings local law enforcement together for an evening of teamwork, sportsmanship, and community spirit.

Admission is simple and meaningful: attendees are asked to bring an unwrapped toy for entry. All donated toys will support Christian Men in Action , who will distribute them to local children on Christmas Eve during their annual holiday give-away event.
