LESLIE, Mich. (WILX) -Residents braved the cold and lined the streets to witness the Leslie Lighted Holiday Parade on Saturday.
The annual event takes place on the second Saturday of December. Around 1,000 patrons attend each year.
Members of the parade included local first responders, the American Legion, CATA’s “Catapillar” parade bus, and many more.
Dominic Ambroggio, co-owner of Main Street Bakery, talked about why this event is so important for the community.
“You know, one of the biggest things is we are a community that comes together, and we all appreciate each other and the hard work that we all do,” Ambroggio said. [...] “In the end we’re all a community that comes together.”
Attendees who showed up early enough received Santa hats and candy canes. The event will return next
