Arizona’s population continues to grow, but likely at a slower pace than the state experienced in recent years.
“Arizona remains a growth state, a net in-migration state,” Luis Cordova, senior vice president and COO of Rounds Consulting Group, said. “But the trend is softening.”
Census data generally lags, and was affected by the federal government shutdown, so it will likely be a year or more before 2025 data is finalized, but Cordova does not expect the overall numbers to decrease. But he does expect the growth to slow.
