It could be considered a variety show chock-full of choreographed Broadway showstoppers strolling down memory lane.

White Pines Collegiate and Vocational School presents Raise Your Voice Dec. 16-18 at Sault Community Theatre Centre. Performances begin at 7 p.m. Advance tickets are available at the school office or at the door.

The production features choreographed pieces, including hits from Fiddler on the Roof, The Little Mermaid, Legally Blonde, Oliver, Children of Eden, High School Musical, Singing in the Rain and Aladdin.

“What’s so great” about Raise Your Voice is that the choreography spans several eras, says choreographer Jenny Febbraro.

For example, the cast is able to “throw in” Charleston moves for Good Morning, then “swing” to modern hip-hop moves for High School Musical.
