Disney's latest movie, Zootopia 2 , has crossed a record-breaking $1 billion at the global box office, which is the first animation to ever reach this milestone.
The global box office total, as of today (December 12), is currently at $986.1 million, which consists of $232.7 million domestic and $753.4 million internationally. The sequel will be the second studio movie to hit $1 billion this year and is the fastest to reach this milestone among all the previous animated movies, as well as all PG titles in just 17 days.
