SOUTH SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - With more snow forecasted this weekend, communities in the Siouxland area are expected to declare snow emergencies.

South Sioux City, NE

The City of South Sioux City has declared a snow emergency starting on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 2 a.m. and ending on Sunday, Dec. 14, at 6 a.m.

According to the City of South Sioux City, parking is prohibited on designated snow emergency routes, which are marked with signs.

“During the Snow Emergency period, all non-emergency route streets will utilize the alternate parking requirement,” said the city of South Sioux City, “Parking will be allowed only on the even sides of the streets, on even calendar days.”
