ADAIR COUNTY, Mo - A Novinger man will make his initial court appearance Wednesday in Adair County on drug charges stemming from a traffic stop last month.
According to a probable cause statement, a member of the Missouri State Highway Patrol pulled over a pickup truck on November 12th being driven by 55-year-old Jason Quinn Robinson. During the stop the trooper identified indicators of criminal activity by Robinson. He denied consent to search the vehicle.
A K9 unit from the Kirksville Police Department was brought in. A baggie containing methamphetamine was found in Robinson's wallet and a glass smoking device containing burnt residue was located in the overhead sunglass visor of the vehicle.
