On Dec. 10, state epidemiologist Linda Bell described Spartanburg County's measles outbreak as "accelerating."
Two days later, the South Carolina Department of Public Health has reported 15 new infections along with two additional public schools with students under quarantine.
According to the Dec. 12 update, there are 67 students from Campobello Gramling School and 16 from Boiling Springs Elementary under quarantine as a result of measles exposures at the two schools.
