King Charles III has recorded a video message which will highlight the importance of cancer screening programmes and his own recovery after being diagnosed with cancer last year. The King revealed in February 2024 that he had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer and was beginning treatment.

A pre-recorded message will be shown on TV this evening in support of the Stand Up To Cancer campaign and it is thought King Charles will give an update about his own recovery journey. The message will be broadcast on Friday evening, December 12, as part of the joint campaign by Cancer Research UK and Channel 4.
