King Charles has delivered an important message to the nation this evening: "Early diagnosis quite simply saves lives." The King explained how he heard the important message "repeatedly during my visits to cancer centres across the country," stating how, in his own case, it enabled him to lead "a full and active life", even while undergoing treatment.
The video message, filmed at the end of November, aired on Channel 4 at 8pm on Friday as part of Stand Up To Cancer 2025, a joint campaign with Cancer Research UK. It was recorded from the Morning Room at Clarence House . The King was diagnosed with cancer in February 2024 after he underwent checks on a prostate issue.
