VANCOUVER, British Columbia — Lululemon’s Chief Executive Officer Calvin McDonald will step down next year, ending a seven-year tenure, the company announced Thursday .
McDonald plans to leave his posts as CEO and board member on Jan. 31, 2026, and will remain as a senior adviser through March to support the transition, the company also said. Lululemon’s board has started a formal search for his successor with an outside executive search firm.
To maintain stability during the transition, Lululemon said board chair Marti Morfitt will assume an expanded role as executive chair. Once McDonald departs, Chief Financial Officer Meghan Frank and Chief Commercial Officer André Maestrini will serve as interim co-CEOs.
