TOLEDO, Ohio — An 18-year-old was hospitalized after a shooting Friday morning in east Toledo, according to police.

Police said officers responded to the 1700 block of Greenwood Avenue just before 8 a.m. and found the victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to the hospital and detectives responded to the scene. No other information was provided in a police report.
