UK adults are sending 58 hours' worth of voice notes each year, with more than a third believing they are now replacing real-life interactions
According to new research, Brits are spending an average of 58 hours a year sending voice notes, with over a third believing these audio messages are now replacing face-to-face conversations. The study found that respondents typically record six voice notes per day, each lasting around 95 seconds.
One in five admitted to sending voice notes that are several minutes long, and four in ten frequent users have spent entire evenings recording messages instead of meeting up in person. However, 22% of recipients reported feeling bored while listening to lengthy voice notes, and 15% described it as a tedious task to do.
