Class of 2026 four-star tight end Matt Ludwig quickly found a new home after being released from his financial aid agreement with Michigan on Thursday.
Ludwig, the 2025 Gatorade Player of the Year in Montana, committed to Texas Tech on Friday and is slated to enroll early at the school.
“Guns up !” he wrote in his commitment post.
The 6-foot-5, 250-pounder signed with the Wolverines during last week’s early signing period but reopened his recruitment following the dismissal of head coach Sherrone Moore on Wednesday for engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member.
