The Barrington High School boys indoor track team celebrated the start of the season with lopsided wins over Pilgrim (96-7), Achievement First (103-5) and Mt. Hope (99-10) in Providence on Thursday, Dec. 11.

The Eagles had a number of event winners. Joe Adams won a pair of events — the shot put and the weight throw. Sam Spencer captured first place in the 3,000-meter race, Patrick Trainor won the 55-meter dash, and Brooks Mello was tops in the 1,500-meter race. Henry Stockwell won the 600-meter race, and Brady Andrew won the 1,000.

The team of Stockwell, Colby Napolitano, Xavier Barako and Will Sturla won the 4x400-meter relay race.
