SEDALIA — A Sedalia man is facing charges related to a stabbing at a local residence Wednesday.

Samuel Storer, 43, is charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action.

A probable cause statement says the victim knocked on the door of the residence and was allegedly stabbed as soon as Storer opened the door.

Storer is in custody at the Pettis County Jail on a $25,000 bond. No court dates are scheduled.
