Iam writing to you as an anonymous source. I am an employee with the Inglewood Unified School District. I am saddened to report a critical issue concerning student welfare at New Kelso Elementary School that demands your urgent attention to help get the word out.

Principal Davida Fountain of New Kelso Elementary (located at the former Warren Lane campus, 2602 W 79th St, Inglewood, CA 90305) has implemented a policy that effectively denies basic human dignity to children arriving on campus. Principal Fountain has ordered that student restrooms remain locked until 8:40 AM.

Children are arriving as early as 7:45 AM, forcing them to wait over an hour to use the restroom. This has also been seen as multiple staff and parents. We have noticed that this school year children have been forced to
