The Bills might not have Christian Benford in Foxborough on Sunday.
The standout cornerback has been listed as questionable with a toe injury that he suffered in practice this week. Benford was spotted in a walking boot on Thursday and didn’t practice on Friday.
“Normal practice play, just tweaked his toe,” said coach Sean McDermott, who didn’t think it was a long-term injury. “It is frustrating, but at the same time, next man up. We’ve been doing that all year. So I’m confident that somebody will step up if that’s what’s needed here.”
Benford had been playing outstanding football before suffering the injury.
