KINGSTON, N.Y. — U.S. Rep. Pat Ryan has introduced a bill expanding on and increasing funding for a grant program supporting the modification of transportation infrastructure in areas impacted by urban renewal, according to a press release.

Ryan, D-Gardiner, introduced the “Restoring Essential Public Access and Improving Resilient (REPAIR) Infrastructure Program Act” on Friday, Dec. 12. If passed, the bill would renew and expand on the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Reconnecting Communities Program as the REPAIR Infrastructure Program.
