KINGSTON, N.Y. — A Kingston chiropractor convicted of possessing and sharing child sexual abuse materials will spend more time behind bars than he originally bargained for.

John Boyle was sentenced on Friday to 7 1/3 to 20 years in state prison for one count of possession of a sexual performance of a child, one count of possession of obscene sexual performance by a child, promoting a sexual performance by a child and promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child. Authorities say Boyle, 34, possessed and shared with his wife thousands of images and videos containing child sexual abuse material.
