CADILLAC — The Cadillac/Wexford Transit Authority is once again supporting Project Christmas by offering up their transportation services to those unable to make it out on their own.

The shopping event organized by the Department of Health and Human Services and supported by several local organizations, allows people to shop for items for their loved ones.

This week, WexExpress employees have been making deliveries of food and donations to more than 250 families and people in need in Wexford and Missaukee counties.

The WexExpress operations manager, Terri Trowbridge said many families would not be able to celebrate Christmas without Project Christmas.
