The Football Supporters' Association (FSA) have asked the Football Association to ask FIFA to stop World Cup ticket sales until stakeholders, including fans, can discuss the pricing policy.
The FSA's request comes amid a section of England fans refusing to purchase World Cup final tickets next summer as prices enter 'life savings territory'.
Tickets for all games are significantly higher than Qatar 2022 with FIFA determining pricing based on perceived demand. It means matches like England vs. Croatia and Scotland vs. Brazil cost as much as $700. Yet exactly now the pricing structure is determined has not been openly shared.
“For the first time in World Cup history, no consistent price will be offered across all group stage games," the FSA said.
