HINDMAN, Ky. (WYMT) - In day five of the WYMT Food City Mountain Basketball Classic, Paintsville faced Perry Co. Central in a girls consolation clash and won, 64-36.
Kylie Kinner got the scoring going for the Lady Tigers on their first possession of the game.
The Lady Tigers went on a 7-1 run in the first two minutes of the game, courtesy of a steal and score by Kinner.
The Lady Commodores responded following the steal by Kinner with a layup by Ryleigh Feltner.
With 4:10 remaining in the first quarter, Emily Noble brought the game back within one possession on a three-point basket, then Ava Cornett tied the game with a layup with just under three minutes left in the first frame.
The Lady ‘Dores got in reached five fouls towards the end of the first quarter, leading to two free throws
