HINDMAN, Ky. (WYMT) - The first round of the Girls WYMT Food City Mountain Basketball classic wrapped up with Clay County facing Perry Co. Central.

The Lady Tigers won, 68-24.

Clay County led, 21-5 at the end of the first quarter, then proceeded to hold the Lady Commodores to seven points in the second frame.

At the half, the Lady Tigers led, 43-14, with more than ten steals before the break.

With the win, Clay Co. Girls Basketball Head Coach Gemma Parks has earned her first win in the WYMT Food City Mountain Basketball Classic.
