BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – As Christmas gets closer, many families are taking time to remember loved ones they’ve lost and the good times they shared.
Tomorrow is also a special day to honor the men and women who fought for the freedoms we enjoy. Wreaths Across America will place thousands of wreaths on the graves of fallen service members across the country. Here in South Central Kentucky, hundreds of wreaths will be laid to honor those who served and have since passed. The tradition started at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia, and has grown nationwide as a way to say “thank you” to our veterans and their families.
